Amanda has wanted to design sets since she was 9 years old and realized it was an actual job. Amanda excels at transforming ideas and words into eye catching backdrops that helps to build the scene.
After studying theatre production at Humber college she began to design for the stage. After 10 years of working in theatre she decided to apply her creativity to the entertainment industry where she has successfully managed to balance her boundless visual creativity and love for design with a disciplined awareness of budgets, schedules and crew management. Amanda was recently nominated for two 2019 Daytime Emmy Award for her work on Odd Squad and Dino Dana.
